The Goody Marketing Academy is a customized learning program that enables Goody’s employees to become the marketing leaders of the future. While the company’s HR training program develops Goodyians’ soft skills, this program ensures that they develop a strong solid foundation in technical mastery. This is achieved through training sessions which are not held in the classroom; rather Goodyians learn by experience.
The program consists of three modules - Ideation, Experiential and Business Management. Goodyians completed the Ideation and Experiential Modules this August, as part of which they crafted research methodologies and participated in focus groups. They worked with creative agencies to understand how briefs are translated into ideas. For their digital training, they travelled to Dubai to get a firsthand learning experience from the Google, Twitter and Facebook teams.
The Academy is expected to continuously evolve as per the development requirements of the marketing team, the evolving market and media conditions. In addition, feedback is constantly taken from participants to ensure that future sessions are improved. Goody envisions that this program will be the most sought-after program by future marketeers, allowing the company to continue to attract and retain the best talent in the market.
